I chose hair steamers because steaming my hair is an important part of my hair routine and I know the importance of getting my hair steamed at least weekly, each time I do my hair treatments.
What is Hair Steaming?
Steaming you hair is a way of adding moist heat to help to open your hair follicles and pores on your scalp, so that you can more effectively absorb moisture.
Our hair is always being exposed to our environment, natural elements and every day routines, which can cause dry and brittle hair and at times increases the chances of breakage.
When you steam your hair it helps to maintain moisture by making it penetrate into your hair deeply. I like to look at it this way, see your hair as a house plant that needs water. You can sprinkle water on it every now and again and the moisture will hit the surface. You need to give it a good watering for the water to hit the roots for it to flourish and grow.
Well steaming your hair is like that, it gets the moisture right where it is needed. Another way to look at it a greenhouse effect on your hair. Where you create an atmosphere where your hair can properly absorb moisture so that it can flourish and grow. This is not all steaming can do for your hair, there are other benefits.

I thought I would add this hair steamer cap because I like the write up and the reviews and it is a really handy and easy to use product. This hair steamer cap states that it can improve treatment absorption by 200%.

I seriously never knew that there were so many benefits to steaming hair. My hair gets dried up very quickly, specially at the ends, although i don’t use chemicals (except for shampooing). I also have some dandruff, which I hate!!! I’ve tried every single shampoo in existence I think, and they have not taken care of the problem in its entirety. Now I know that steaming will strengthen hair, but will it also be effective to fight dandruff? Thanks!

Yes hair steaming will make a huge difference in your hairs appearance and feel. It as been a game changer for me. A lot of the shampoos on the market are only temporary fixes and in masking the cause of dandruff will make the hair brittle and dry. Whilst steaming your hair will also help in healing the scalp.
